BGSU Women’s Golf Finishes in Seventh Place at the Falcon Florida Classic

LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – The Bowling Green State University women's golf team placed seventh at its Falcon Florida Classic. The 12-team event was held at the par-72, 6,069-yard course at the Royal Lakes Golf Course.
Kayla Davis paced the Falcons, finishing tied for No. 11 at +1. Davis started the day +4 and shot a -3 in the final round. Her 69 on Tuesday was tied for the third-best score of round No. 3. Davis also was tied for No. 7 in the tournament with 37 pars. She also shot even for the tournament on the par-4 holes.
Olivia Steen finished tied for No. 25 at +8. Emily Nystrom finished tied for No. 40 at +11, Savannah Wyrick placed tied for No. 57 at +19 and Alyson Kovach rounds out the BGSU lineup tied for No. 61 at +20.
BGSU also had two Falcons play as individuals. Averi Mickelson finished tied for 50 at +16, while Amanda Maletich placed No. 56 at +18.
