Juniper Brewing Company Announces New Beer Made in Collaboration with Bowling Green State University

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Juniper Brewing Company (JBC), located on Main Street in Bowling Green, has announced a new collaboration beer with Bowling Green State University.
The beer, which the fans will have a chance to name, will be made exclusively for Bowling Green State University to celebrate BGSU, its fans and their continued support of the Bowling Green community. Juniper's BGSU beer will be officially licensed through CLC, BGSU's licensing partner, and Juniper Brewing Company, a proud sponsor of BGSU athletics since their founding in 2021.
"Juniper could not be more excited about the beer we created in partnership with BGSU Athletics," said Zach Tracy, co-founder of Juniper Brewing Company. "After discussing with my wife and co-founder, Chris, and the team at Falcon Sports Properties, the goal was to create a light, approachable, easy drinking beer that anyone could enjoy. We wanted this to be an accessible beer that appealed to most fans, whether they were rooting for the Falcons at the Doyt, Stroh Center, Slater Family Ice Arena or enjoying the wide variety of 4-star food options at Juniper while visiting children, reuniting with other BGSU alumni, or picking up a six-pack to enjoy at home. It's clean, well-rounded, and super bright—it checks many boxes without being loud in any direction. We'll let the BGSU faithful take care of that. Cheers!"
The beer Juniper has crafted specifically for BGSU is a light ale that's well-rounded, bright and has a subtle, soft, malty sweetness with delicate floral aromas. This beer is crisp and clean with an ABV of 4.9%, making it ideal to share with friends and family at BGSU games all year long as we sing Ay Ziggy Zoomba!

The name the beer contest will start on BGSU Athletics twitter, in which fans can submit names for the beer. The committee will choose four finalists and allow for a fan vote to select the name of the Official BGSU Athletics beer.
