BGSU Women’s Golf Opens Up Fall 2023 Season at Illinois State’s Redbird Invitational

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green women's golf team opens the fall season on Sunday at Illinois State's Redbird Invitational. The two-day event will take place at Weibring Golf Club. The par-72, 6,010-yard course is in Normal, Ill.
The first 36 holes will be played on Sunday with the final 18 taking place on Monday. Both days have shotgun starts at 9:30 a.m.
Redbird Invitational
The Falcons will be one of 16 teams competing at the Redbird Invitational. In addition to Bowling Green, the Mid-American Conference will be represented by NIU. The rest of the field will include Bradley, Butler, Drake, Eastern Illinois, Evansville, Illinois State, Illinois Wesleyan, Indiana State, IUPUI, Northern Iowa, South Dakota, South Dakota State, St. Thomas and Valparaiso.
BGSU Players Competing This Week
• Sammie Dolce, Mallory Swartz, Ava O'Sullivan, Kayla Davis, Emily Pantig-Nystrom
• Olivia Steen will compete as an individual.

• Kayla Davis placed tied for No. 12 in last year's Redbird Invitational after shooting +9 (75-77-73-72-225)
• Davis made her collegiate debut in the Redbird Invitational in the fall of 2019, finishing +11 and tied for No. 32.
• Sammie Dolce is making her collegiate debut.
