Six Falcons Named To Second Team All-MAC

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference has announced its end-of-year awards for indoor track and field, with six Falcons being named to the second-team All-MAC after last weekend's championship meet in Ypsilanti, Mich. Overall the Falcons finished in fourth with a team score of 59 points.
Tianna Mulligan lead the Falcons, earning points in the 200 and 400. While Katerina Shuble succeeded in the mile and Kylee Cubbison the 3,000. Bianca Staples placed in the triple jump and joined Darian Braddix in the 4x400 relay helping the group to a 3:58.10 finish. Staples also placed second in the triple jump with a 40' 1.5" mark and tied for ninth in the high jump at 5' 5.75.
Cubbison's efforts in the 3k placed her 8th at the MAC Indoor Championships and fifth on the BGSU Indoor Track and Field records. Mulligan placed third in the 400 with a time of 55.84 and seventh in the 200, finishing in 25.28. Shuble placed seventh in the mile with a time of 4:57.97. Braddix and Mulligan competed in the DMR on day one of competition and placed second with a time of 11:35.21.
