BGSU Earns Berth in WNIT

Dates & Matchups to be Announced
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (BGSU Strategic Communications) – The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team will return to the Postseason WNIT in 2024. The Falcons have received a bid to the 48-team field, which was announced Sunday night (March 17).
The official bracket, with matchups and round one game dates and times, will be released on Monday (March 18).
BGSU is appearing in the WNIT for the ninth time in program history, and the third time in four years. Last season, the Falcons advanced all the way to the semifinal round of the then 64-team tourney, defeating Liberty, Green Bay, Memphis and Florida before falling to Columbia in the Fab 4.
The Falcons will enter the 2024 Postseason WNIT with an all-time record of 12-9 in the tourney.
The 2024 field features 11 automatic qualifiers and 37 at-large selections, chosen after consideration of a mix of criteria by WNIT officials. There are 24 teams with 20 or more victories in the bracket.
