Bowling Green Post Strong Results In Cincinnati and Raleigh

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green track and field program completed their split weekend in Cincinnati and Raleigh. Mateya Haintz had the highest placement in Raleigh, she placed second in the hammer throw (194-4). DaMya Barker placed fourth in the 400m Hurdles with a time of 1:01.07, recording a personal best.
In Cincinnati, Kristin Groppe placed first in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:28.80. Rachael Withrow placed eighth in the 5000m run, with a time of 18:31.33 while on the men's side Anthony Sweet placed first with a time of 14:39.07. Lane Anderson had a good showing in the shot put in Cincinnati, placing fourth with a 44-4 mark.
