Kayla Davis Named MAC Women’s Golfer of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced that Kayla Davis has been named the MAC Women's Golf Golfer of the Week, for events completed through March 6. Davis finished tied for fifth at UTRGV's Vaquero Invitational.
Davis (Gahanna, Ohio) led the Falcons to a third-place finish shooting 70, 70, 73 for an even par total of 213. She accumulated 12 birdies over the three rounds, which tied for third out of the entire field. The even par finish is her career best tournament score over three rounds. She led Bowling Green to a third place finish out of 11 teams and helped the Falcons jump 2 spots in the final round for that finish.
Davis and the Falcons return to action March 17-19 at Tennessee Tech's Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate.
