Falcons Land 23 On Academic-All MAC Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced Monday afternoon the 2024 Women's Indoor Track and Field Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 136 student-athletes were named to this year's squad, 22 of those are from Bowling Green who finished fourth at the MAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
The Falcons are the second-highest total in the conference (22) Kent State led the way with 26 student-athletes on this year's team while Central Michigan had 18 and Miami had 16 student-athletes represented.
Nine out of the 22 Falcons were 4.00 GPA student-athletes, leading the MAC in Indoor Track and Field.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
