Falcons Prepare For Regular Season Finale at Billy Hayes Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.- The Bowling Green Track and Field team is set to conclude the 2024 outdoor regular season this weekend at the Billy Hayes Invitational. The Invitational will take place on Friday, May 5 at Robert C. Haugh Track and Field Complex on Indiana University's campus, first event to start at 4:00 p.m.

The Falcons started the three day stretch in Allendale, Michigan competing in the GVSU Extra Weekend. Kylee Cubbison (6) and Katerina Shuble (7) participated in the 1500m run, placing in the top 10. On the men's side Anthony Sweet placed fourth in the 5000m run.Â
Friday and Saturday BG participated in the Clark Wood Invitational, posting a handful of personal best. Full results can be found below, top finishers came from Tianna Mulligan in the 400m placing fourth (54.93), Kailee Perry in the 1500m placing fifth (4:31.49). The 4x100 relay team finished in fourth compiling of Morgan Patterson, Alexsia Parchman, Kiera Bonds, Darian Braddix  (45.81). In the 4x400 the Falcons finished second (Ashley Kisor, DaMya Barker, Darian Braddix, Tianna Mulligan).Â
Morgan Patterson finished ninth overall in the 100m hurdles, in the 400m hurdles DaMya Barker finished sixth. Morgan Patterson ran the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.77, recording the fastest time at BGSU. Bianca Staples placed second in the triple jump with a 41'7.25" mark while in the long jump invitational Morgan Patterson placed fifth with a 19'6" mark. Lane Anderson placed fifth in the shot put with a 44' 7.5" finish and Reagan Emberton placed third in discus at 147' 10".
