
Relay Squad Breaks School Record At Billy Hayes

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Bowling Green Track and Field team concluded the final meet of the 2024 outdoor regular season (May, 3). The Falcons posted strong results in the sprints and jumps, including a BGSU record breaking performance by the 4x100 relay squad.
The relay team was composed of Morgan Patterson, Alexis Parchman, Kiera Bonds, and Tianna Mulligan. The four placed first in the 4x100 relay, breaking a Falcon school record previously set in 2021. The previous record was set by Ayanna Tommy, Jemeila Hunter, Ryen Draper, and Savannah Nevels at the Gibson Invitational.
In other events of the day, Alexis Parchman placed third in the 100m prelims while also setting a personal record. In the 100m finals, Parchman placed third yet again running a 12.08. In the 400m Ashley Kisor placed fourth, running a 57.46 setting a personal record.
Katherine Mendenhall placed seventh in the high jump, recording a 5-05.500 (1.65m) mark. Morgan Patterson placed fourth in the long jump with a 19-00.50 mark (5.80m) while Kiera Bonds placed ninth with a 17-08.25 (5.39m) performance.
