Two BGSU Divers Earn CSCAA Scholar All-American Honors

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Two Bowling Green divers were named to the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA's) Scholar All-American Team.
Rayah Blood and Evie Long both earned Second Team CSCAA Scholar All-American for the 2023-24 season.
Blood, a senior who has now earned Second Team Scholar All-American honors for the third consecutive year, was a four-time MAC Diver of the Week throughout her career and qualified for NCAA Diving Zones in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives the last three seasons. She was an applied health science major.
Long, a sophomore environmental science major, also qualified for NCAA Diving Zones this past season and additionally as a freshman. She competed in the 1-meter and 3-meter dives at the event, and earned multiple top-five finishes throughout the season.
To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second-Team selections must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met a "B" time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
Over 2,000 male/female swimmers and divers were selected to the teams from all divisions.
