Meet Preview: Falcons Open Up 2024 Campaign at Akron’s 55th Annual Tommy Evans Invitational

Bowling Green, Ohio -- The Falcons will begin the 2024 campaign at the 55th Annual Tommy Evans Invitational hosted by the University of Akron at Silver Creek Cross Country Park in Norton, Ohio. The women's 5K race will start first at 6:15 p.m. while the men's 6K run will follow at approximately 6:45 p.m.
Last season marked the first time in recent years that BG competed at the meet, as the women's team won it in a field of 16 teams led by Kailee Perry's 17:50.4 first-place 5K time.
