Falcons Place as Runner-Up at A-Ga-Ming Invitational while Dolce Finishes in the Top-10

Kewadin, Mich.,-The Bowling Green women's golf team finished second out of 14 teams at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational hosted by Central Michigan. The two-day event was contested at the Sundance Golf Course, a par 72, 6,000-yard course.Â

Sammie Dolce led all BGSU golfers and finished No.7, while four freshmen made their BGSU debuts all finishing their first collegiate tournament in the top 50: No.12 Macie Elzinga, No.16 Clare Yeazell, No.33 McKenzie Miller, No.46 Addison Kartusch. Additionally, six falcons finished in the top 20: No.7 Sammie Dolce, No.12 Macie Elzinga, No.12 Makenna Jones, No.12 Ava O'Sullivan, No.16 Clare Yeazell, No.18 Olivia Steen.Â

"We just wrapped up our first event of the fall season and I am very pleased with our team, said Coach Erin Fahey. "The team fought hard to finish the event Runner-Up and it was a total team effort. It was really special to have all nine Falcons competing together. Overall, I saw a lot of positive things on the course that are encouraging as we continue the season!"
