Falcon Throwers Prepare for Silverston Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Bowling Green women's track and field throws group will make its final tune-up before the conference meet Friday, competing in the Silverston Invitational hosted by the University of Michigan at the U-M Indoor Track Building. Field events are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
The Falcons enter the weekend building momentum after a strong showing at the Grand Valley State Big Meet.
Sierra Brinson led the way in the shot put, placing fourth with a throw of 15.05 meters, one of the top marks of her indoor season. In the weight throw, Sierra Podolan and Emma Hoffman each recorded personal-best marks, continuing a steady climb as the postseason approaches. Grace Bradtmueller added a season-best performance in the event, contributing to the group's upward trend.
Friday's meet provides a final opportunity to sharpen marks ahead of the MAC Championships, set for Feb. 27-28.
