Strong Throws Propel Bowling Green Toward MACs

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Bowling Green's throwers delivered a strong showing at the Silverston Invitational on Friday, building momentum ahead of the upcoming MAC Indoor Championship.
Sierra Brinson led the way in the shot put, finishing runner-up with a personal-best throw of 14.94 meters. The mark cracked the NCAA Division I Top 100 this season. Lily Tomasheski added a seventh-place finish at 12.96m, while Jenna Lucas recorded a 12.51m effort.
The Falcons followed with another solid performance in the weight throw. Grace Bradtmueller placed third with a 16.52m mark, and Sydney Williams finished fifth at 13.84m. Sierra Podolan posted a 13.03m throw, and Emma Hoffman added a 12.64m mark to round out the group's efforts.
Bowling Green now shifts its focus to the MAC Indoor Championship. The two-day meet begins Friday, Feb. 27, and concludes Saturday, Feb. 28.
