BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball team has made an addition to this year's home schedule. BGSU has added a home game for Wednesday, April 8, hosting Lourdes University. The game is set for a 6 p.m. first pitch at Steller Field and, as always, admission will be free. The meeting between BGSU and Lourdes University will be the first and final meeting as Lourdes University announced they will close their doors at the end of the academic year.
The game will be the second of a back-to-back as the Falcons will face Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday, April 7. BGSU will then host a three-game weekend series against Central Michigan following the matchup with Lourdes. As for the Gray Wolves, they will be coming off a four-game homestand against UNOH. Currently, Lourdes University holds a record of 9-13 being 7-9 on the road.
As for the Falcons, Bowling Green will focus on their game later today (March 24) at Steller Field against Tiffin, set for a 4 p.m. start. After that the Falcons will play their final of five straight home games tomorrow (March 25) in a game against Findlay, scheduled first pitch at 6 p.m. The game originally was set to be the home opener on Tuesday, March 17, but was moved due to weather concerns.
