BGSU Caravans to Columbus for Jesse Owens Invite

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Bowling Green is heading to Columbus for the Jesse Owens Invitational hosted by Ohio State. The two-day meet begins Friday at noon at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
A total of 14 Falcons will travel, competing in mid-distance, long-distance and various throws events. The meet will host a slew of MAC teams, three Big Ten programs and various other midwestern schools.
Fresh off a full weekend at both the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet and the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational, BGSU aims to improve on last week's high marks. In the javelin, Lily Tomasheski climbed to third in the program's record book at 40.84m, also setting a new personal record in the shot put at 13.37m.
