Brinson Posts Shot Put Personal Best in Hillsdale

HILLSDALE, Mich. – Bowling Green's throwers and multi-events unit closed out the regular season at the Hillsdale Last Chance Meet, picking up additional experience and a personal record in the shot put.
The field opened with the shot put, where Sierra Brinson finished runner-up and set a new personal best. Her toss of 14.27 meters bettered her previous mark set last week at the Jesse Owens Invitational.
Two Falcons from the multi-events group, Jenna Lucas and Viktorie Krizova, competed in the javelin. Lucas finished third at 32.76m while Krizova placed fourth at 32.07m.
The bulk of BGSU's throwers competed in the discus. Brinson cracked the podium again, posting a third-place mark of 43.76m. Sierra Podolan (40.64m), Natalie Vrancken (40.57m) and Emma Hoffman (40.42m) went 5-6-7, recording results within two centimeters of one another. Grace Bradtmueller rounded out the event for Bowling Green with a throw of 37.59m.
The Falcons' throwers and multi-events group have concluded the regular season and will turn their attention to the MAC Outdoor Championship, scheduled for May 14-16.
