2011-2012 (junior): Played in 43 games for the Falcons, spending the majority of his time on defense after starting the year as a forward…scored four goals and five assists…recorded nine points, tied with Marcus Perrier for the lead in points among defenseman… led the team in penalties committed (23) and PIMs (65)…one of three Falcons (Marc Rodriguez, Ryan Carpenter and Shea) to score shorthanded…blocked 27 shots….scored his first goal of the season in a 4-4 tie with Connecticut…secured an assist and blocked two shots against Michigan State…scored two goals and an assist in a 3-3 tie against Western Michigan, setting single-game career highs in goals and points scored, finished the game with a plus-2 on-ice rating…recorded an assist in a 3-1 against Alaska on the road…scored a goal against Northern Michigan, committing one penalty and blocking one shot…blocked three shots and recorded an assist in the Falcons’ series-clinching 4-1 against NMU in the CCHA Playoffs, finished with a plus -2 rating.
2010-2011 (sophomore): Played in 37 games, spending time at forward and defense…scored first career point with an assist against Alabama-Huntsville (Oct. 22)…played forward for the first time in his career against Ohio State (Dec. 10), had a (-1) plus/minus rating and committed a pair of minor penalties…recorded first career goal against Miami University (Jan. 14) while playing forward…recorded two assists in the playoffs, one in each round of the tournament…finished the season with seven points (1g, 6a)…committed 22 penalties for 63 minutes…blocked 20 shots…finished the season with a (-11) rating.
2009-10 (freshman): Played in 19 games as a freshman…missed the first month of the season waiting for clearance to play by the NCAA…debuted against Ferris State (Nov. 6)…registered three games where he had a positive plus/minus ratio and 14 games with an even mark…took four shots and made seven blocks on the season…finished with a (+3) plus/minus mark…had 15 penalties for 55 minutes.
Prior to BGSU: Played last season for the Green Bay Gamblers (USHL)…helped them to first place in the East Division…had four goals and three assists with 152 PIM for the Gamblers…had a (+12) on-ice rating.
