2012-13 (Junior): Played in 13 games during the season…earned one assist…blocked two shots…committed three penalties for six penalty minutes…recorded his first point of the season with an assist against Western Michigan (11/10/12), was a +1 in the contest.
2011-12 (Sophomore): Played in 37 games for the Falcons…scored four goals and added one assit for five points…scored two of his goals on the power play, with one being a game winner…committed nine penalties for 18 PIMs…finished the season with 12 blocked shots…scored his first goal of the season against Notre Dame, also committing two penalties for four minutes…scored his second goal of the season against Ferris State at the BGSU Ice Arena… scored the game-winning power-play goal against Canisius in a 3-1 Falcon win at home…recorded his only assist of the season in a 3-3 tie with Western Michigan at home, finishing with a plus -1 on-ice rating…scored in the Falcons’ series-clinching game against Northern Michigan in the first round of the CCHA Playoffs.
2010-11 (freshman): Played in 33 games…saw his first action against Alabama-Huntsville (Oct. 22) and scored his first career point, an assist…tallied an assist in three consecutive games from Dec. 29 to Jan. 7…had a three-point weekend at Lake Superior (Jan. 28-29) with three assists in two games…had a second three-game scoring streak after adding a power-play goal against Western Michigan (Feb. 4)…solidified a playoff victory with an empty-net goal in game two of the CCHA Tournament’s opening round victory against Northern Michigan (March 5)…finished the year with nine points (2g, 7a), a (-7) on-ice rating and 23 blocks.
Prior to BGSU: Was a member of the Penticon Vees (BCHL) from 2008-10…posted 11 goals and 17 assists with the Vees in 2009-10…played in 59 games scoring 20 goals and recorded 32 assists (52 points) in 2008-09…was a member of the Tecumseh Chiefs from 2006-2008…featured a stat line of 34-46-80 in 46 games, leading his team in those three categories in 2007-08…eighteen of his 34 goals were scored on the power play…in 12 games of postseason play that year he scored five goals and nine assists (14 points) en route to winning the Sutherland Cup…was a 2007-08 WOHL First Team All-Star selection and played in the GOJHL Top Prospect game…in 2006-07 he posted 22 goals and 33 assists (55 points) in 48 games.
Personal: Full name – Ryan Christopher Viselli…son of Leo and Kathy Viselli…has a brother, Derek (20) and a sister, Katelyn (16)…played alongside Cameron Sinclair on the 2006-07 Tecumseh Chief team…was named an Honor scholar and an Ontario Scholar at St. Anne’s High School…spent one year at the University of Windsor before coming to BGSU…is an exercise science major.
