Was one of a league-high eight BGSU student-athletes named to the Academic All-MAC Team ... also was one of four Falcons -- also a MAC best -- named MAC Distinguished Scholar Athletes ... played in all 28 games off the bench, making four starts ... averaged 13.8 minutes, 1.8 points and 3.3 rebounds per game ... finished fourth on the Falcons in rebounding and second in blocked shots (0.4 per game) ... in MAC games, averaged 2.0 ppg, 3.7 rpg and again was second on the Falcons in blocks, with 0.4 per game ... had five points and three boards and was 2-of-3 from the floor in the win over Evansville ... had two points and five rebounds in 14 minutes in the MAC opener, a win at Miami ... pulled down a season-high eight rebounds against Akron ... made the first three-pointer of her career in the Falcons' win at Northern Illinois, finishing that game with a season-high seven points and six rebounds ... had six boards in the next contest, a home win over Kent State ... had four points in the road game vs. Toledo ... three points and six rebounds in the home game against Western Michigan ... scored five points in the Falcons' final regular-season contest, at Akron ... was inducted into the Mortar Board Honor Society.Â

Was a co-recipient of BGSU's Scholar-Athlete-of-the-Year award ... started each of the first 12 games before missing the remainder of the season due to injury ... averaged 5.4 points per game, and was second on the team in rebounding at the time of the injury, with 6.3 boards per contest ... led the Falcons with 1.0 blocked shots per game at that time as well, blocking 12 shots in 12 contests ... had a then career-high nine points along with six rebounds against Bucknell (Nov. 14) ... four days later, set a new career standard with 12 points, adding five boards vs. Iona (Nov. 18) ... pulled down a then career-best 11 rebounds at Milwaukee (Nov. 22) ... had shattered her previous rebounding high by halftime of that game, with nine boards in the first period ... just missed a double-double, with eight points and nine rebounds, vs. Cincinnati (Dec. 7) ... had eight points and career-high totals of 12 rebounds and five assists in BG's win at Illinois State (Dec. 19) ... she entered the ISU game with totals of one assist on the season and eight in her career ... scored 11 points in BG's win at Bradley (Dec. 21) ... hit her first five shots from the field before finishing the day at 5-of-6 ... also had six boards and two blocked shots vs. the Braves ... had five points and five boards vs. Hampton (Dec. 29), and two points, six rebounds, two assists and a BG-leading two blocks at FIU (Dec. 30) during BG's trip to Florida ... had four points and five rebounds, along with an assist and a block, against Ball State in the MAC opener (Jan. 3) ... that BSU game was the final contest in which she saw action in 2014-15 ... was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society, in March of 2015.

Played in 31 games off the bench in her first year on campus ... averaged 1.7 points and 1.7 rebounds per game, and shot 44.4% from the field ... scored the first two points of her collegiate career in BGSU's road win over Iona (Nov. 9) ... had four points and four rebounds in her first home game, against Niagara (Nov. 15) ... had 13 points in a two-game span as the Falcons topped Milwaukee (Dec. 8) and Massachusetts (Dec. 19) ... scored a then career-high six points and added three rebounds in 14 minutes vs. UWM, going 3-of-5 from the floor ... then, had seven points in a season-high 17 minutes vs. UMass ... was 5-of-6 from the free-throw line vs. the Minutewomen, adding three rebounds and a blocked shot ... had three points and two boards against Saint Francis (Dec. 29), again playing 17 minutes ... had a seven-point outing in the win over Miami at the Stroh (Feb. 9), making 5-of-6 shots from the stripe ... had another seven-point game, adding four rebounds, against Kent State (Feb. 27) ... all four boards came at the offensive end of the court ... had four points and two assists in the next game, a win over Ohio (March 2) ... also had two assists vs. the Bobcats ... had four points, a career-high six rebounds, an assist and a block in the WNIT second-round win over St. Bonaventure ... had four offensive boards vs. the Bonnies ... hit 71% of her free-throw tries on the year, going 22-of-31 ... sang the National Anthem before a pair of home games.

Earned four letters at Ottoville High School ('13) for coach Dave Klemen... became the first player in school history with over 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds ... had 1,365 points and a school-record 1,085 boards in her career ... was named the Ohio Division IV Player of the Year as a senior, helping the Big Green to a 27-1 record and a berth in the state semifinals ... an All-Ohio First-Team selection as a senior, she also earned Academic All-Ohio honors ... also was named the All-Northwest Ohio Player of the Year, the District 8 P-O-Y and the Putnam County League P-O-Y ... averaged 17.1 points and 12.0 rebounds per game as a senior, and also had 2.4 assists, 2.2 steals and 3.0 blocks per contest ... Big Green went 7-0 in the PCL in each of her four years ... had 15 points for the Division III-IV North Team in the Ohio H.S. Basketball Coaches Association North-South All-Star Game ... averaged 14.0 points and 10.5 boards as a junior, leading Ottoville to a 23-1 record and the regional finals ... was the Putnam County League Player of the Year as a junior as well as a senior ... named to the All-Ohio Second Team in that junior year ... earned all-league first-team honors three times after being named to the All-PCL Second Team as a freshman ... averaged a double-double in all four years, with 12.0 ppg and 10.6 rpg as a frosh, and 12.2 points and 10.9 boards per contest as a soph ... team had an overall record of 92-6 during her four years ... also lettered in volleyball, soccer and track, garnering all-league honorable mention in both volleyball and soccer ... earned All-Ohio honors in track after helping her 4x800-meter relay team place fourth at the state meet ... National Honor Society.

Abby Lynn Siefker was born on Aug. 27, 1994, in Lima, Ohio ... a biology pre-dentistry major at BGSU, with minors in chemistry, general sciences and entrepreneurship ... graduated with a perfect 4.000 cumulative GPA through the Spring 2017 semester ... daughter of Dr. Tom and Cheryl Siefker ... the second of three children ... has an older sister and a younger brother ... sister, Shayla, was on the cross country and track teams at Ohio Northern Univ. ... has been accepted into the Ohio State University College of Dentistry upon graduation from BGSU ... inducted into numerous honors societies, including Mortar Board, Phi Kappa Phi, Alpha Epsilon Delta, Omicron Delta Kappa, Phi Beta Kappa and National Society of Leadership and Success ... president of BGSU's Delta Delta Sigma Pre-Dentistry Association ... would like to have her own dental practice and/or potentially continue her education to specialize in orthodontics or endodontics following dental school ... a three-year member of BGSU's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and has served as that group's treasurer and service chair ... member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes ... played AAU ball for Dayton Lady Hoopstars Premier.
