Earned four letters at Ottoville High School ('13) for coach Dave Klemen... became the first player in school history with over 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds ... had 1,365 points and a school-record 1,085 boards in her career ... was named the Ohio Division IV Player of the Year as a senior, helping the Big Green to a 27-1 record and a berth in the state semifinals ... an All-Ohio First-Team selection as a senior, she also earned Academic All-Ohio honors ... also was named the All-Northwest Ohio Player of the Year, the District 8 P-O-Y and the Putnam County League P-O-Y ... averaged 17.1 points and 12.0 rebounds per game as a senior, and also had 2.4 assists, 2.2 steals and 3.0 blocks per contest ... Big Green went 7-0 in the PCL in each of her four years ... had 15 points for the Division III-IV North Team in the Ohio H.S. Basketball Coaches Association North-South All-Star Game ... averaged 14.0 points and 10.5 boards as a junior, leading Ottoville to a 23-1 record and the regional finals ... was the Putnam County League Player of the Year as a junior as well as a senior ... named to the All-Ohio Second Team in that junior year ... earned all-league first-team honors three times after being named to the All-PCL Second Team as a freshman ... averaged a double-double in all four years, with 12.0 ppg and 10.6 rpg as a frosh, and 12.2 points and 10.9 boards per contest as a soph ... team had an overall record of 92-6 during her four years ... also lettered in volleyball, soccer and track, garnering all-league honorable mention in both volleyball and soccer ... earned All-Ohio honors in track after helping her 4x800-meter relay team place fourth at the state meet ... Abby Lynn Siefker was born on Aug. 27, 1994, in Lima, Ohio ... a biology pre-dentistry major at BGSU, with minors in chemistry, general sciences and entrepreneurship ... graduated with a perfect 4.000 cumulative GPA through the Spring 2017 semester ... daughter of Dr. Tom and Cheryl Siefker ... the second of three children ... has an older sister and a younger brother ... sister, Shayla, was on the cross country and track teams at Ohio Northern Univ. ... has been accepted into the Ohio State University College of Dentistry upon graduation from BGSU ... inducted into numerous honors societies, including Mortar Board, Phi Kappa Phi, Alpha Epsilon Delta, Omicron Delta Kappa, Phi Beta Kappa and National Society of Leadership and Success ... president of BGSU's Delta Delta Sigma Pre-Dentistry Association ... would like to have her own dental practice and/or potentially continue her education to specialize in orthodontics or endodontics following dental school ... a three-year member of BGSU's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and has served as that group's treasurer and service chair ... member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes ... played AAU ball for Dayton Lady Hoopstars Premier.
