Candace Archer joined the BGSU Cross Country/Track and Field programs in January of 2024. Archer last coached at Columbia University for two years and assisted in multiple All-Ivy Conference performances. Including a win in the Indoor Women's Distance Medley Relay in 2022.Â
Archer was a student-athlete for six years competing in Women's Cross Country and Track and Field at West Virginia University. Archer collected All Region at the Mid Atlantic Cross-Country Championship in 2019. Archer competed in the All Big 12 Conference performances in the 1,000 meter run and the Women's Distance Medley Relay.Â
Archer received her Master's degree in Coaching and Sport Education in 2021. Archer also received her Bachelor's degree in Strategic Communications in 2019. Archer is USATF level one certified.Â
