THE 2006-07 SENIOR CLASS
BGSU[apos]s senior class in 2006-07 was arguably the finest in school -- and Mid-American Conference -- history ... Amber Flynn, Julie Gompers, Liz Honegger, Carin Horne, Ali Mann and Megan Thorburn helped the Falcons to an average of over 25 wins per year, going 103-25 (including a perfect 8-0 vs. Toledo) ... BGSU advanced to the championship game of the MAC Tournament in all four seasons, winning the last three ... in fact, the Falcons won both the league regular-season and tournament titles in each of the group[apos]s final three years, advancing to the NCAA Championships ... as seniors, the class helped the Falcons to NCAA tourney victories over Oklahoma State and #7/8 Vanderbilt, for the first [apos]Sweet 16[apos] appearance ever by a MAC women[apos]s team ... that 2006-07 squad won 31 games, the most by a MAC basketball team -- men or women -- in history.

Shot over 55 percent from the field for her career ... had a total of 552 career points, including 354 as a senior ... over her last two seasons, shot 56.3%, going 207-of-368 from the field.

Team tri-captain ... the MAC[apos]s Sixth Man of the Year ... named BGSU[apos]s Power Player of the Year ... a co-recipient of the team[apos]s Impact-Player-of-the-Year Award ... averaged 10.1 points and 4.0 rebounds per game, coming off the bench in all 35 contests ... shot 58.4% from the floor on the season, leading the team and ranking second in the MAC ... that was the fifth-highest seasonal FG pct. in school history ... also ranked second in the MAC in field-goal pct. in league games only, shooting 57.1% ... finished second on the team in blocked shots, with 22 ... her 21 double-digit scoring games on the year included a career-high 21 points in win at Kent State ... shot a perfect 8-for-8 from the field in that win, adding six rebounds and two steals ... had a game-high 19 points in NCAA second-round win over Vanderbilt ... hit two three-pointers in the win over Temple, after entering that contest with a career total of one successful trey ... scored 12 points in each of three-straight games, vs. Albany, Fairleigh Dickinson and Temple ... had entered that November stretch with a career total of five double-digit scoring games to that time ... holds the BGSU single-game scoring record in games played outside of the United States ... had 16 points on 7-for-9 shooting in win over eventual NCAA participant Texas-Arlington in Cancun, Mexico ... was a perfect 5-for-5 from the field in the come-from-behind win over Delaware ... had 18 points in regular-season win vs. Ball State, going 6-of-7 from both the field and the free-throw line ... had no fewer than three conventional three-point plays, and also had a team-high eight rebounds in that win ... also tied her career mark with three assists for the second-straight game ... scored 10 points and pulled down a game-high seven points in MAC Tournament championship-game win over BSU ... averaged 10.3 points per game in MAC contests ... averaged 13.3 points, ranking second on the team, in the three NCAA Tournament games ... had 10 points in the Oklahoma State contest, as BGSU won an NCAA Tournament game for the first time in 18 years ... was a perfect 4-of-4 from the field in just 15 minutes of action in that game ... then, scored a game-high 19 points off the bench as the Brown and Orange downed #2-seeded Vandy in the second round ... had 11 points in the Falcons[apos] loss to Arizona State in the NCAA[apos]s Round of 16 ... averaged 10.5 points and shot 64.2% (52-for-81) in home games ... scored 354 points on the year after scoring a total of 198 in her first three years combined.
2005-06
Saw action in all 31 games, averaging 13.5 minutes per contest off the bench ... averaged 5.1 points and 3.3 rebounds, ranking fifth on the team in boards ... named the team[apos]s Most Improved Player ... one of the most improved players in the MAC, scoring 158 points as a junior after a combined 40 points in her first two years ... had 101 rebounds in [apos]05-06 after pulling down a total of 43 in her freshman and sophomore seasons combined ... averaged 8.1 points per game in the 10-game span that culminated with the MAC Tournament championship-contest win over Kent State ... in those 10 games, shot a team-best 54.1 percent from the field (33-of-61) ... scored a then career-high 13 points off the bench in the season-opening win over IPFW ... also set career standards in field goals made (5) and attempted (10) and minutes played (17) in that game ... had seven points in the next game, a win over Saint Francis (Pa.) ... with 20 points in the first two games of the year, matched her scoring total for each of her first two seasons at BGSU ... had seven rebounds in the SFU win ... just missed a double-double, with nine points and 10 rebounds in the Falcons[apos] win at Indiana ... also had two blocks and two steals in 20 minutes vs. the Hoosiers, with all but the point total matching or tying her career highs to that point ... stepped up to score 12 points in 13 minutes off the bench in win over Eastern Michigan, the MAC[apos]s first-ever meeting of 7-0 teams ... eight points in 14 minutes in regular-season win over Northern Illinois ... career-high 14 points in win at Akron ... tied her career bests in both field goals made (five) and free throws made (four) in that game ... was a perfect 5-for-5 from the floor vs. the Zips ... that was part of a five-game span in which she averaged 8.2 points per game and shot a team-best 63.0 percent from the field in mid-February ... had eight points and tied her career best with 10 rebounds in road win vs. Ohio ... made five of her seven shot attempts in the win at Miami that closed the regular season ... had 10 points and six rebounds in that win ... 5-for-9 on her way to 13 points in the league tourney semifinal win over arch-rival Toledo ... averaged 7.3 points and 6.0 rebounds per game in the MAC Tournament.
2004-05
Played in 18 games off the bench, averaging 1.1 points and 1.3 rebounds ... shot 53.3 percent from the field, making eight of her 15 field-goal tries ... had season-best totals of nine points and four rebounds at IPFW, going a perfect 4-for-4 from the floor ... the point total was a career best, while the rebound total tied a career standard ... in MAC play, totalled eight points and nine boards in 10 games ... had five points in the conference opener at Buffalo, going 2-for-2 from the field and adding three rebounds ... also had three boards in wins over Winthrop and Northern Illinois ... on the year, averaged 12.2 rebounds per 40 minutes, the highest total on the team.

HIGH SCHOOL
A four-year letterwinner for coach Joanna Sears at North College Hill High School ... a four-time All-Miami Valley Conference First-Team selection ... as a senior, helped the Trojans to first 20-win season in school history and berth in semifinals of Ohio Division III State Tournament ... passed 1,000-point mark for her career as a junior, helping NCHHS to an 18-5 mark that season ... was rated as one of top 35 senior power forwards in nation by Mike White[apos]s All-Star Girls Basketball Report ... also earned letters in volleyball (three), softball (one) and track (one) ... earned first-team all-league honors in volleyball and softball, and won a league crown in the high jump ... helped volleyball team to school[apos]s first-ever sectional and district championships in any girls sport, as the team went 23-1 and advanced to regional semifinals her senior year ... then helped basketball team to school[apos]s first-ever regional title in any girls[apos] sport.

Amber Christine Flynn was born Dec. 15, 1984, in Cincinnati ... a health promotion major at BGSU ... daughter of Craig Williams and Lisa Carmack ... has two older brothers and one younger brother.
