2004-05 HONORS:
McDOWELL AND THE FALCONS: BGSU averaged 21.0 wins in the four seasons she was on campus ... the Falcons went 72-21 overall, 40-8 in MAC regular-season games and 9-1 in MAC Tournament contests in her three seasons in a BG uniform ... that came after the Falcons went 9-19 the year before she arrived and 12-16 the season she sat out as a transfer from Indiana State ... played in a total of 90 games in the Brown and Orange, with 382 points and a total of 75 three-point field goals made.

2003-04: Played in 29 games off the bench ... averaged 2.2 points, 0.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists, ranking third on the team in the latter category ... blocked the first shot of her BGSU career in the second regular-season game vs. Central Michigan ... was a perfect 3-for-3 from the field en route to eight points at Ohio ... also had three rebounds vs. the Bobcats ... had two assists and played a key role in the win over Western Michigan ... saw some time at point guard, and gave BG some valuable minutes with Lindsay Austin on the bench in foul trouble ... two points vs. Buffalo ... had nine points vs. Morehead State ... tied her career high (set while at Indiana State) with seven assists vs. Eastern Kentucky, committing no turnovers in that game ... exploded for 19 points, including four three-point field goals, at Bucknell ... also had three steals in that game ... scored five points vs. both SE Missouri State and IPFW ... four assists against both IPFW and Detroit.
2002-03: Sat out the season per NCAA rules after transferring from Indiana State University.
2001-02 AT ISU: Appeared in all 28 games as a freshman for the Sycamores, making 20 starts ... averaged 4.2 points, 1.9 rebounds and 24.1 minutes per game ... was third on the team with 28 three-point field goals made ... finished second on the squad in steals (37) and third in assists (55) ... scored 10 points in collegiate debut, vs. Xavier ... had seven points vs. both Austin Peay and Southwest Missouri State ... tallied six points and four rebounds vs. Dartmouth ... drained three three-pointers in the first half en route to a career-high 11 points in win over IUPUI ... had five points and five boards vs. Akron ... tied her career high with three first-half treys in first meeting vs. SMS.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters for coach Tony Whitmer at Hudson High School ... named second-team all-state as a senior ... also named first-team all-Northeast Ohio, and was the Western Reserve Conference MVP ... the tri-county (Medina, Summit, Portage) Senior of the Year ... also the Summit County Player of the Year and Akron Beacon Journal Female Winter Athlete of the Year ... graduated as the leading scorer in school history with 1,189 career points ... helped the Explorers to a four-year WRC record of 39-1 and four WRC division titles.
PERSONAL: Casey Ann McDowell was born Aug. 21, 1983, in Wheeling, W.Va. ... daughter of David and Crystal McDowell ... a physical education major who finished with a 3.46 cumulative GPA at BGSU ... the youngest of two children ... brother, Brooks, competed on the men[apos]s golf team at John Carroll University ... Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
