HIGH SCHOOL
A three-year letterwinner for coach Peggy Carr-Beasley at Inkster High School ... after a 14-8 rookie season, would help the Vikings to a 22-3 overall record as well as a Mega Conference Championship in 2005 ... that season, team would go on to collect league, district and regional crowns as well as reach the Michigan state semi-final game ... attended Charlotte Forten Academy for a semester as a junior and would sit out season due to MHSAA transfer rules ... returned to IHS in 2008 to lead the team to a 15-7 record and a tie for third place in the Mega Conference ... concluded career with a first team all-state nod as well as All-Metro, All-Mega Conference and All-West recognition ... she was also voted into the 2008 Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan All-Star game.

Victoria Danica McGowan was born on November 26, 1990, in Detroit, Michigan... plans to major in applied health science at BGSU... daughter of Victor McGowan and Debra Leflore...has two brothers and one sister ... cousins, Nick McGowan and Travis LeFlore, are collegiate athletes at Tiffin where McGowan plays football and LeFlore runs track.
