Â
Over the course of the COVID shortened season of 2019-20, Grant coached divers Kylie Mosset and Talisa Lemke to NCAA Diving zones before the cancellation of the NCAA season. For Lemke it was her fourth straight qualification and Mosset her second. Lemke also went on to win the 1 Meter and 3 Meter dive at MAC Championships with Mosset finishing 10th in the 3 Meter Dive.Â
Â
Grant has also mentored Lemke off the platform. Lemke has been recognized by the CSSAA as a Scholar All-American, as well as the MAC as an Academic All-MAC selection. During the 2018-2019 season, Grant also guided Kylie Mosset to her first appearance at the NCAA Diving Zones.Â
Â
In the 2017-18 season, Grant coached Talisa Lemke to a first place finish in the 1-meter dive at the MAC Championships. Grant and Lemke continued their success in 2018-19, with Lemke winning the 3-meter dive while defending her 1-meter title at the MAC Championships.
Prior to becoming coach at BGSU, Grant served as diving coach of Oakland Legacy Diving at Oakland University. In that capacity, she coached athletes to compete for USA Diving and obtain college scholarships. She also recruited high-school level athletes for her team. In addition, Grant arranged travel to USA diving competitions for athletes and coaches, and she managed meets held at the Oakland University Aquatic Center.
Grant competed as a student-athlete for the Oakland Golden Grizzlies' women's swimming and diving team from 2011-2015. As a freshman diver, she made an immediate impact by earning all-league honors at the Summit League championships, where she won the three-meter board (292.35) and finished third on the one-meter board.
Her prestige increased as a sophomore, as she earned Summit League Diver of the Year and Diver of the Championships honors. She won the one-meter championship by posting a Summit League-record 301.40 and repeated as three-meter champion (302.20). She broke the Oakland University one-meter record with a 310.70 at the EMU Swim and Dive Invitational and finished in the top 15 of both events at the 2013 NCAA Diving Zones.
Prior to her junior season, Oakland moved to the Horizon League, and Grant continued her championship ways in that league. In 2014, she became the first diver in Horizon League history to the NCAA Championships, where she finished 25th (three-meter) and 31st (one-meter). At the NCAA Zone C Diving event, she finished fourth in the three-meter event and 11th on one-meter. She was league champion in both events and was named Horizon League Diver of the Week sevne times.
Grant completed her collegiate career with repeat Horizon League championships in both the three-meter and one-meter diving events in 2015. That gave her seven league titles out of a possible eight in her career. She was named Diver of the Championship for the second straight year and earned four more Diver of the Week honors.
Grant earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Oakland in 2015. In 2019 Grant graduated from Bowling Green State University with her Masters of Business Administration.
