BGSU's Murphy Selected By Carolina

Bowling Green State University forward Ryan Murphy was selected in the fourth round of the 1999 National Hockey League Draft held on Saturday, June 26 in Boston's FleetCenter. Murphy was the 113th player selected overall.

Murphy's selection marks the 11th time in the last 12 years that a BGSU hockey player has been drafted. He is also the 57th Falcon to be selected by a National Hockey League team.
