The Bowling Green State University hockey team began its 1999-2000 campaign with a 7-2 exhibition win over the University of Toronto Saturday afternoon at the BGSU Ice Arena. Senior assistant captain Adam Edinger led the Falcons with three goals. Single goals were scored by Curtis Valentine, Greg Day, Brad Newman and Chris Bonvie.
BG faces Boston College, the preseason No. 1 team in the country, in its first NCAA game next Friday (Oct. 15) at the Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
