Bowling Green, Ohio - The 1999-2000 Falcon women's swimming and diving team has 20 returning letterwinners and 10 freshmen who will kickoff the upcoming season this Friday in the Tom Stubbs Relays. The Tom Stubbs Relays is a non-scoring meet with diving competition taking place at 11:00 a.m. followed by swimming at 5:00 p.m.

Led by school-record holder Nancy Simpson, MAC finalist Bethany Budde, Sarah Abell, Laura Segerlin and Alissa Davies, the BG women will face a schedule with Mountain West, Big East, Big 10, Mid- Western and the always fast MAC schools.

The men's and women's teams will open the Mid-American Conference portion of their schedules the first weekend in November. The women swim at Toledo with Eastern Michigan joining the triangular meet on Friday, Nov. 5 at 6:00 p.m.
