BGSU-Toledo Women's Soccer Match Postponed

The women's soccer match between Bowling Green State University and the University of Toledo, originally scheduled for this afternoon (Sept. 29), has been postponed. The BGSU-UT match has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 30, at 10:00 a.m., at BGSU's Cochrane Field.
Due to an accident on Interstate 75, the bus carrying the Toledo team was stuck in traffic en route to Bowling Green. Coupled with the inclement weather, it was unlikely that the teams could have played a complete match due to impending darkness, even if the UT squad had arrived in BG.
The Falcons (5-3-0 overall, 2-1-0 Mid-American Conference) begin a four-match road swing with Friday's (Oct. 1) contest at Ball State. BGSU's next scheduled home contest is Friday, Oct. 15, vs. Eastern Michigan.
Toledo (3-4-0, 0-2-0) plays at Miami Friday.
The postponement is the first in the three-year history of the BGSU women's soccer program.
