The nationally-ranked Rams posted a three-game victory (15-3, 15-7, 15-12) over the Falcons. #17 CSU hit .333 as a team en route to the win, led by Angela Knopf's .565 hitting percentage. She also had five blocks. For the Brown and Orange, Melissa Lewis hit .357 and had 13 kills. Her eight digs also topped the Falcons. Kris Pesorda had eight kills in the match.
In the nightcap, the Brown and Orange dropped a three-game affair (15-5, 15-11, 15-3) to the SMU Mustangs. Kelly Klecka hit .517 with 17 kills for the opposition. For the Falcons, JoAnna Papageorgiou led the team with nine kills and a .250 hitting percentage. She also paced the Brown and Orange with four blocks, and her 10 digs tied her with Lewis for team honors. Caty Rommeck had eight kills for BG.
