BOWLING GREEN, OH - With the win at Marshall on Saturday, the BGSU Men's Basketball team clinched the MAC East Division Championship and secured the #1 seed in the MAC Tournament. As the #1 seed, the Falcons have earned a bye for the first round of the tournament to be played on campus sites, along with #2 seed Ball State and #3 seed Kent.
Tickets
The Falcons will face the winner of No. 8 seed Eastern Michigan and No. 9 seed Miami in the quarterfinals at 12:00 pm on Sunday, March 5th at Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. The ticket allotment for the general public that was given to Bowling Green is sold-out, however a limited number of $10 student tickets remain.
Due to the amount of traffic in the parking lot near the Athletics Ticket Office, pre-ordered tickets will be available for pick-up beginning on Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the Athletics Administration Office located in Doyt Perry Stadium. Any tickets that are not picked up in Bowling Green will be available one hour prior to tip-off at the BGSU Gund Arena will call table, which will be located in the Gund Arena ticket lobby area. However, it is suggested that fans pick up their tickets by Friday at 4:00 pm at the Athletics Administration Office, as they will also have the opportunity to reserve their tickets for the semi-final game should the Falcons advance. All tickets sold by BGSU are good only for the sessions in which Bowling Green plays. All-session passes are available through the Gund Arena Ticket Office at 216-420-2287.
If the Falcons win on Sunday, a satellite ticket office will be set up at the Renaissance Hotel in Cleveland immediately following the game until 6:00 pm for pick-up and purchase of semi-final game tickets. The satellite ticket office will also be open on Monday from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the ticket office in Bowling Green. Tickets for the Bowling Green section and the Bowling Green student section will only be available at the satellite ticket office located at the Renaissance Hotel in Cleveland.
Should the Falcons advance to the championship game on Wednesday, March 8th, tickets will be available for purchase in the Renaissance satellite ticket office on Tuesday from 8-4 and Wednesday from 8-4, depending on availability.
