Softball Adds Games With Michigan

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green softball team has announced the addition of a doubleheader to the 2000 schedule. Head coach Leigh Ross-Shaw and her team will travel to Ann Arbor, Mich., for a twinbill against the University of Michigan on April 4.
Game one of the DH is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. at U-M's Alumni Field.
Michigan is currently 22-6 this season, heading into a Friday (March 31) twinbill vs. Indiana. All six losses have come by scores of either 1-0 or 2-1. In the latest USA Today/NFCA national poll (dated March 22), the Wolverines were ranked 13th in the nation. U-M boasts wins over Mid-American Conference members Kent (12-4 and 20-1 in five innings) and Toledo (14-0 in five innings).
Alumni Field is located in the south campus athletic complex on South State Street directly behind Fisher Stadium and the Indoor Track and Tennis Building. The field is directly accessible from I-94 at the State Street exit #177, and can also be reached off the Ann Arbor-Saline exit #175, or Jackson Road exit #172.
The Falcons are 12-6 overall, heading into Tuesday's (March 28) doubleheader at Wright State. The Brown and Orange will open the home, and the MAC, schedule with twinbills vs. Western Michigan Friday (March 31) and Northern Illinois (April 1) before playing a single game at Oakland Sunday (April 2).
