Milosek Ranked Among National Leaders

The NCAA has released the latest softball statistics, and Bowling Green State University is ranked in several categories. The statistics are through games of Sunday, April 9.
Individually, sophomore pitcher Jessie Milosek is ranked 14th in the nation in earned-run average. Milosek has an ERA of 0.72, having surrendered just six earned runs in 58 1/3 innings of work this spring. She has a record of 6-1 this season.
As a team, the Falcons were ranked 15th in the nation in that category, with an ERA of 1.22. That figure now stands at 1.17 after Tuesday's (April 11) game vs. Ohio State.
The Falcons are 17-9 overall heading into a Thursday (April 13) game at Dayton. That game will begin at 4:00 p.m. BGSU, 2-2 in Mid-American Conference play, will return to the BGSU Softball Field for this weekend's three-game series vs. Akron. The teams will play a single game Friday (April 14) at 3:00 p.m. and a Saturday (April 15) doubleheader, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
