Michael Jones To Play For Team USA

Bowling Green State University senior defenseman Michael Jones (Toledo, OH/Sylvania Northview) will play for Team USA in the upcoming North American College Hockey Championships.
The USA team is comprised of NCAA seniors and will face seniors from CIAU (Canadian Interuniversity Athletic Union) schools in two games this weekend.
The fourth annual NACHC begins on Saturday night (7:30 p.m.) at the Palace of Auburn Hills, and concludes Sunday afternoon (2 p.m.) at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario.
Jones will be joined on the USA blueline by Robert Ek (Maine/Lulea, Sweden), Chris MacKenzie (Niagara/Niagara Falls, ONT), Mike Weaver (Michigan State/Bramalea, ONT), Dan Peters (Colorado College/Cottage Grove, MN) and Justin Harney (St. Lawrence/Hopkinton, MA).
The goaltenders for Team USA will be Greg Gardner (Niagara/Mississauga, ONT) and Shep Harder (Colgate/Wayzata, MN).
Forwards on the USA team are Lee Goren (North Dakota/Winnipeg, MAN), Mike Souza (New Hampshire/Wakefield, MA), Ben Simon (Notre Dame/Shaker Heights, OH), Jason Ulmer (North Dakota/Wilcox, SASK), Nate Miller (Minnesota/Anoka, MN), Chris Heron (Boston University/North York, ONT), Steve Aronson (St. Thomas/Minnetonka, MN), Darryl Campbell (Colgate/Strathroy, ONT), Jeff Scissons (Minnesota-Duluth/Saskatoon, SASK), Toby Peterson (Colorado College/Bloomington, MN), Cory Larose (Maine/Campbellton, NB) and Eric Meloche (Ohio State/Rosemere, QUE).
Team USA will be coached by Wayne State head coach and former BGSU assistant coach Bill Wilkinson. He will be assisted by Northeastern Head Coach Bruce Crowder, Norwich Head Coach Mike McShane and Michigan State assistant coach Tom Newton, a former BGSU player. Los Angeles Kings scout Greg Drechsel is serving as the general manager for Team USA.
