Tracy Called Up By The Expos

Former Bowling Green State University baseball (and football) player Andy Tracy was called up by the Montreal Expos following Thursday's contest for the Ottawa Lynx. Tracy will become the 12th former BGSU player to play in the Major Leagues.
Last night for Ottawa, Tracy went 2-for-2 with a double and a home run (third of the year) with two runs scored and two walks.

Tracy, a graduate of Bowling Green High School, was a 1996 Smith Super Team semifinalist as a third baseman for the Falcons, while also receiving First Team District IV honors. He was also selected as the 1993 Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year.
Tracy ranks first on BGSU's career home run list with 45, second in total bases (342) and runs batted in (141).
