The Bowling Green State University men's track team finished in seventh place at the 2000 Mid-American Conference outdoor championship hosted by the University at Buffalo.

Sophomore Ricco Oglesby (Columbus, Ohio) placed seventh in the finals of the 100m (10.80).
Freshman Zerian Peterson (Lima, Ohio) placed fourth in the finals of the 200m (21.04).
Zerian Peterson won the 400m in a BGSU season-best time of 46.69, while senior Rah'Sheen Clay (Cleveland, Ohio) placed third (47.91).
Senior Pat Miller (Waterloo, Indiana) was third in the 800m with a BGSU season-best time of 1:52.10, with freshman Ed Stonestreet (McDonald, Ohio) placing eighth (1:53.19).
Senior Kreg Hatfield (Circleville, Ohio) was sixth in the 1,500m finals with a BGSU season-best time of 3:56.39.
Junior Rob Glatz (Amherst, Ohio) was 23rd in the 5,000m in a time of 15:31.53.
BG's 4x100m Relay team of Ricco Oglesby, Zerian Peterson, freshman Keith Battle (Farmington Hills, Michigan) and Rah'Sheen Clay placed second in a time of 40.48, just .02 away from equalling the school record set in 1997.
BG's 4x400m Relay team of Rah'Sheen Clay, Keith Battle, Pat Miller and Zerian Peterson claimed first place with a time of 3:10.42.
Senior Eric Browning (Toledo, Ohio) placed 12th in the high jump at 6'04.75" (1.95m), while freshman Bryan Gardner (Perrysburg, Ohio) had no height.
