Falcons Send Distance, Throws Groups to GVSU Extra Weekend Meet

ALLENDALE, Mich. – Bowling Green's distance runners and throws group are en route to Allendale for the Grand Valley State Extra Weekend Meet. It will be held at the GVSU Lacrosse/Track & Field Stadium from April 24-25.
On both Friday and Saturday, BGSU will begin with the women's hammer throw.
The Falcons roll into this weekend after a successful outing at the Bryan Clay Invitational. There, Kylee Cubbison scampered to a new school record in the 1500-meter, sealing it with a 4:15.16 ninth-place finish. Rachael Hoover established herself second all-time in program history with a 4:16.91 pace in the same event, Marissa Boone set two personal records and Regina Rose moved up Bowling Green's 10,000-meter all-time list.
