Assistant Hockey Coach Resigns Position

Bowling Green State University assistant hockey coach Eric Hoffberg has resigned effective May 25 to pursue professional coaching and business opportunities.
Hoffberg joined Buddy Powers' staff last August after serving the previous 10 years (1989-99) as the head coach at Rochester Institute of Technology. He replaced Wayne Wilson who was named head coach at RIT.
A 1986 graduate of Elmira College, Hoffberg served as an assistant coach at Elmira for one year after graduation before joining Bruce Delventhal's staff at RIT. His second season at RIT, he was the assistant coach for Buddy Powers.
A search will begin immediately for a replacement.
