Hockey Announces 2000-01 Schedule

Bowling Green State University Director of Athletics Paul Krebs has approved the 2000-01 Falcon hockey schedule.
BG will open the season with an home exhibition contest versus York University on Friday, Oct. 6. After a two-game series at Alabama-Huntsville, the Falcons open the Central Collegiate Hockey Association portion of its schedule against the defending CCHA regular-season champion Michigan Wolverines.
Bowling Green will play four games each against Ferris State, Alaska Fairbanks and Nebraska-Omaha this coming season as the four institutions constitute one of the three CCHA scheduling clusters.
All of Bowling Green's home games this coming year will start at 7 p.m.
The Falcons remaining home CCHA series include Michigan State (Dec. 1-2), Lake Superior (Feb. 2-3) and Western Michigan (Feb. 23-24).
Bowling Green will also entertain ECAC member Rensselaer for a weekend series on Jan. 19-20.
