Brown & Orange Hockey Game Slated for Oct. 6

Bowling Green - The Bowling Green State University hockey team will hold its annual Brown & Orange hockey game on Saturday, Oct. 6, at the BGSU Ice Arena. Face-off is set for 11:45 a.m.. There will be a 10-minute warmup followed by two 20-minute periods. The first period will be five-on-five and the second period will be four-on-four.
BGSU's "Brown Team" will be coached by Falcon assistant coach Tim Alexander while the "Orange Team" will be led by Falcon assistant coach Dave Smith.
The game is free to the public and fans will be able to meet the Falcons approximately 15 minutes after the conclusion of the game.
Bowling Green opens its 2001-02 season at the Icebreakers Tournament hosted by the University of Maine in Orono, Maine, Oct. 12-13. The home schedule for the Falcons begins Oct. 26 when Ohio State University comes to the Ice Arena.
