ON THE EXPERIENCE OF THE ALASKA TRIP
"I thought it was great to get two wins over two high-major programs (Mississippi, Sweet 16 and 27 wins in 2001, Delaware, 20 wins in 2001). Today we got a 16-point lead, but we fought through adversity. The great thing is that we won two games (fighting through adversity) and last year we only won once (at Miami) in that situation."
ON THE FALCONS DEFENSE
"There were times on this trip where I thought we played better defense than any time since I have been here. I think we had been giving up 50 points a game in the second half and that was a concern. Our defense was tremendous the first five minutes of the second half today and it was great the last two minutes."
