FALCONS CONCLUDE HOMESTAND
The Falcons concluded their first of two three-game homestands of the season with a 61-58 victory over Marist. The Falcons also will play three straight home games from February 6-13 when they play Ohio, Marshall, and Eastern Michigan. BGSU won its ninth consecutive home opener, and fifth under Dan Dakich, when it defeated Defiance, November 24. On November 28, the Falcons knocked off Michigan, 65-59, giving them three straight wins at home aginst the Big Ten since 1990. Since the 1998-99 season, BGSU is 37-6 in Anderson Arena, including a 12-0 mark in 1999-2000. The Falcons are the 8th-highest rated mid-major program by collegeinsider.com.
COVER BOY LEADS FALCONS
Senior Len Matela, who was featured on Saturday's game program/poster, had 21 points and matched a career-high with 17 rebounds in leading BGSU to the win over Marist. MARIST WRAPUP
