Masters Named Defensive Player Of The Week

Bowling Green goalie Tyler Masters was named the CCHA's Defensive Player of the Week after helping Falcons sweep Lake Superior State. Masters made 63 saves on the weekend, only letting two Laker shots past him as BG posted identical 4-1 scores. As part of the BGSU penalty kill unit, he helped shut out Lake Superior on 13 power-play chances.
Masters received Defensive Player of the Week honors twice (Nov. 29th, March 10-11) and Rookie of the Week once (Dec. 3-4) last season.
