Women's Gymnastics Finished Second At The Corvette Cup in Columbia, Missouri

COLUMBIA, Missouri - The gymnastics team took second place in competition over the weekend at Columbia, Missouri. There were four teams at the Corvette Cup, with the University of Oklahoma finishing first. Marny Oestreng put on another solid performance as she won the vault and took first place in the all-around competition. In winning the all-around, her score of 39.350 was a season best.

Also achieving season-bests for the Falcons this weekend were Jamie Kent and Cristin McClellan. Kent did so on the vault, and earned a 6th place finish with her score of 9.775. McClellan topped her previous best on the floor, scoring 9.850, which was good enough for a 5th place tie.
