Falcons Sign Prep School Standout

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University men's basketball coach Dan Dakich has announced that Germain Fitch, a 6-5, 220-lb wing player from Notre Dame Prep School in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, will attend BGSU and play for the Falcons next season.
Fitch is one of 10 players on his prep school team to sign with a Division I program. He helped his team to a 32-6 record and averaged 10 points, six assists and six rebounds. He attended high school in Huntsville, Alabama where he helped Butler High School to a 23-8 record and a berth in the state quarterfinals as a junior. He was an all-city performer who averaged 12 points, five assists and six rebounds.
As a youngster, he grew up in the Cleveland area and attended Mentor High School as a freshman before moving to Alabama with his family.
