Men's Cross Country Schedule Released

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced the 2001 men's cross country schedule. The Falcons are scheduled to compete in five meets before the Mid-American Conference Championships.
BGSU will host one home meet, the Mel Brodt Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 15. The men's race will begin at 11:45 a.m. that day.
BGSU also will compete in meets in Athens, Ohio, Bronx, N.Y., Notre Dame, Ind., and Ann Arbor, Mich., before heading to the league meet.
The MAC Championship will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, in Ypsilanti, Mich. The Great Lakes Regional is in Terre Haute, Ind., on Saturday, Nov. 10, with the NCAA Championships scheduled for Monday, Nov. 19, in Greenville, S.C.
Head coach Sterling Martin's Falcons finished sixth at last fall's MAC meet. Martin enters his fourth cross-country campaign with the Brown and Orange.
