Football To Face Northwestern

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University has added Northwestern University, a member of the Big Ten Conference, to its 2001 football schedule, the schools have announced. The Falcons and Wildcats will meet at NU's Ryan Field at 11:00 a.m. CST (noon EST) on Saturday, Nov. 17.

The Northwestern game replaces the Sept. 15 contest at South Carolina, which was cancelled last week.

The remainder of the Falcons' 2001 regular-season schedule is as follows:
