Kevin Netter's Career-Night Paces Falcons Past Buffalo, 76-59

Bowling Green, Ohio - Junior center Kevin Netter set seven new career-highs on Wednesday, not the least of which was 36 points, doubling his previous career-high of 18 set last year vs. Indiana State. Other Netter personal-bests set included minutes played (35), field goals (12), field goal attempts (22), free throws made (12), free throws attempted (15), and steals (tied with three).
Guard Jabari Mattox tied his career-high with seven points, while setting new personal marks for minutes played (35), field goals (three), and field goal attempts (five).
Cory Eyink had a career-high five assists in the win over Buffalo. He also bested a personal-mark for minutes played (30) and tied his best in rebounds (six).
The 76-59 win marked the second time this season that BGSU held its opponent to under 60 points (Tiffin-57, Buffalo-59). The Falcons held opponents under 60 points nine times in 2001-2002.
BGSU bested its forced-turnover total from a year ago (23 by Defiance) by forcing 24 miscues by Buffalo on Wednesday night.
The Falcons held Buffalo to .370 pct. shooting from the field on Wednesday in the 76-59 win. Last year, BGSU had its best defensive performance vs. Buffalo, as well, holding the Bulls to .321 pct. shooting in a 73-58 Falcon win.
