Senior Swimmers Make Final Trip To MAC Championships

Senior swimmers Kim Moden, Katy Monnette, Alicia Coburn and Kelli Pydynowski will all make their final trip to the Mid-American Conference Championship meet this weekend at Eastern Michigan University.
These four seniors are ranked on the MAC's Top Times list for 2002. Senior Moden is ranked 6th in the conference in the 50 meter freestyle with a time of 24.30. SHe is also 15th in the 100 freestyle (54.44), 9th in the 200 freestyle relay (1:38.94), 11th in the 200 medley relay (1:51.01) and 12th in the 400 freestyle relay (3:43.66). Fellow senior Alicia Coburn is also ranked in the MAC. She is currnetly 15th in the 100 backstroke (1:03.31), 9th in the 200 freestyle relay (1:38.94), 11th in the 200 medley relay (1:51.01), and 15th in the 400 medley relay (4:10.99). Pydynowski ranks 18th in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:18.83 and also is a part of the 200 medley relay team that is ranked 15th (1:54.82) and a member of the 15th place 400 medley relay team (4:10.99). Monnette is also a member of the 200 medley relay squad that is currently 15th.
The Falcons will compete at EMU this Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2. The Men's Swim team will travel to Athens, Ohio next week for the MAC Championships.
